Sonia Servent has a degree in Tourism from the CEET (University School of Tourism) and is certified in Hotel Management from the ESEUGH in Sitges (both affiliated with the University of Barcelona). She first began working in the Tourism industry in hotel management.
Soon after, she joined a well-known Austrian airline where she managed the day-to-day organization of all kinds of clients. It was during this time that she first discovered an interest in and ability for organization, management and personalized service and decided to focus on the corporate world and event management.
For more than ten years, she worked with well-known national and international companies, eventually becoming Director of Operations of one of Barcelona’s foremost event management companies, where she managed events of between 30 and 12.000 people. Some of the most noteworthy events were an Automobile convention for 6.000 people from all over the world, which featured a Whitney Houston concert, and a well-known international cosmetics company that celebrated their closing party on the massive Palau Sant Jordi terrace with a dinner for 1.000 guests and performances by dancer Joaquín Cortés and New Zealand soprano, Kiri Te Kanawa. In addition, Sonia Servent was part of the team that organized the Laureus World Sports Awards and the GSM (Mobile World Congress) in Barcelona.
It was her enterprising spirit, innovative attitude and constant quest for achievement that pushed her to found Yes I do. This has allowed her to focus her insight and finesse on smaller, more personal events, according an indispensable efficiency to an industry imbued with emotion.
Today, Sonia Servent works with the best suppliers on the market and continues to cultivate her respected reputation with diligence and enthusiasm, alongside her team.
